2040: Coloration Realities, 10"x 10" x 6" Mixed Media; 2021
Globally, the further away from white (Caucasian) one’s skin color is, the more harsh the societal treatment. This piece makes concentric circles from above that start with white in the middle and the darkest hues toward black furthest from the center. The wounds, emotional and physical have long lasting implications. The tallest wall in the center would be 10’ High with the entire piece being 20’ Long and 24’ Wide. The viewer would experience the color gradations first hand.
