Recentered Hope: Florette
This installation was sponsored by the Kingsbury Gallery in St. Louis, MO, as part of a show honoring my daughter who passed away on January 27, 2025. She was active in ministry for 20 years and was on staff at PIHOP in Pasadena, CA. After working for a florist in LA, she loved flowers and they became her love language. The installation took 2 weeks to build and it’s imagery is of Tulips from our back yard in Seattle, WA. I am so grateful to the curator/director of Kingsbury Gallery for inviting me to do this work and for the team of nearly 20 people who helped build it. Thank you Nancy Hughes. The finished piece is 20’ long, 17’ wide and 12’ tall. It was finished at the end of June, 2025.
